Bespoke Engagement Rings

Andrew Leggett and his team love creating bespoke engagement rings. Sometimes commissions are based on the design of one or more of our stock rings, fine-tuned to the exact requirements of the client, whilst others are completely unlike anything we have made before. As jewellery designers rather than jewellery manufacturers, we start from scratch each time.

The process of commissioning a bespoke engagement ring is surprisingly simple. You can have as much creative input as you wish in the design. You don't have to design your ring yourself, (although that is possible). You just need to talk to one of our jewellery designers who will guide you gently through the design process. We listen to your ideas, offering as much advice as you require.

The design process may involve pencil sketches and/or CAD (Computer Aided Design). You can show us pictures of the type of thing you have in mind, but please don’t ask us to make direct copies of the work of other jewellery designers. As we start from scratch we are able to take into account your individual budget.

Once we have your design brief we discuss possible ways of making the design. We have always specialised in creating handmade engagement rings, but with some designs CAD CAM is a good option.

Choice of Diamonds

Whilst for our stock engagement rings we use only fine quality diamonds, preferring to work with D colour, VS clarity, for commissions we will use whatever diamond quality is specified by the customer.

With diamonds from 0.35ct upwards, we generally supply a diamond certificate from an independent diamond grading laboratory.

Please call us to discuss your ideas.
