Since 1985 we have created modern engagement rings in our workshop, near Brighton, in Worthing West Sussex, and we have produced contemporary engagement rings for clients across the UK and Worldwide.

Handmade engagement rings are something of a rarity these days. Most modern engagement rings, even those from luxury jewellery brands and jewellery designers, are actually made using moulds.
Andrew Leggett and his small team of expert craftsmen continue to create beautiful handmade engagement rings in the tradional way, using hand tools such as saws, pliers, hammers etc. The skills needed take years to aquire. Andrew Leggett has been making handmade engagement rings since 1975. He trained in exclusive London workshops, and only employs jewellery designers trained to degree level.
Our handmade engagement rings are individually crafted from top quality materials. For the contemporary engagement rings in our stock we favour diamonds of D-colour, (the very whitest grade) and VS clarity or better, but with bespoke engagement rings we will use whatever quality is specified by the client.

The process of commissioning bespoke engagement rings is surprisingly simple. You don't have to design your ring yourself, (although that is also possible!) You just need to come and talk to one of our jewellery designers. We love creating bespoke engagement rings for clients, and they usually enjoy the experience too!
You deal directly with one of our jewellery designers, who guides you gently through the design process. We listen to your brief, and discuss the possible ways of approaching the design. Sometimes the design is based on one or more of the modern engagement rings in our stock, but modified to suit the client, whilst our most unusual engagement rings are totally original and unique..
Bespoke engagement rings don't have to cost a fortune - that is unless you want them to! We work to individual budgets. If a ring in stock is too costly, we can create a similar ring with a smaller stone to suit the budget available.
