The Flick engagement ring has evolved
We have taken our signature solitaire engagement ring style, as a starting point, and adapted the idea in various ways to produce a "family" of modern engagement rings that are all designed with a flat edge, to sit beautifully with a straight wedding ring. - Your solitaire engagement ring doesn't have to be the same as everyone else's!
The Open-Flick
This version was the first modification to the Flick design. It's name comes from the fact that the two shoulders of the ring don't meet, but are connected only by the stone setting. This gives a lighter more open look that is particularly suitable for smaller hands or shorter fingers. Like all our handmade modern engagement rings, the Open-Flick is available in all platinum or all gold, or in a combination of platinum and gold, and with a choice of diamond cuts, in sizes from 0.25ct upwards.
The Curl
The curl engagement ring varies from the original Flick ring in that the shoulder that flicks towards the stone is longer, and wraps around the setting in a pleasing curl. This adds a little length to the ring, so it is probably best suited to those with longer fingers. The Curl is available with round brilliant diamonds from 0.25ct upwards, on a band of any width required, in platinum, yellow gold, red gold, alone or in any combination.
The Hug
The Hug takes the idea seen in the Curl and applies it to both shoulders, so the stone setting is held in a gentle embrace. The fluid lines of this design make it probably the most feminine solitaire engagement ring in our range.
As with all our handmade modern engagement rings, there are lots of possible variations, in terms of metal, width of band, stone size, and surface finish.
